5-Day Hoi An to Dalat Motorbike Tour via Central Highlands & Ho Chi Minh Trail

Full Itinerary:
Day 1: Hoi An – Kham Duc
Start your journey by heading west into the hills, leaving behind the coast and entering lush countryside. Along the way, stop to visit:
• Traditional villages where locals make incense, rice paper, and chopsticks
• A peaceful pineapple plantation – taste freshly picked fruits
• Stunning mountain roads and waterfalls tucked deep in the jungle
We arrive in Kham Duc, a tranquil highland town surrounded by forested hills.
Day 2: Kham Duc – Kon Tum
We ride deeper into the Central Highlands, following the historic Ho Chi Minh Trail. Highlights include:
• Visiting Phoenix Airport and Charlie Hill – key war sites from the Vietnam War
• Meeting ethnic groups such as the Ch’ru and Bana
• Exploring dense forests and green valleys along winding roads
In Kon Tum, we stay overnight and prepare for cultural immersion.
Day 3: Kon Tum – Pleiku – Buon Me Thuot
After breakfast, we explore Kon Tum:
• A unique wooden cathedral blending colonial and tribal design
• Orphanages supported by local communities
• Kon Ktu Village with its iconic Rong House and preserved tribal customs
On our way to Buon Me Thuot, we take a scenic detour to visit Sea Lake – a former volcanic crater known for its calm beauty.
Day 4: Buon Me Thuot – Lak Lake
Today’s ride is a mix of cultural discovery and raw nature:
• Ride through vast rubber plantations and quiet backroads

Day 5: Lak Lake – Dalat
Wake up early to explore Jun Village, home of the M’nong people. Optional: take a wooden boat ride across Lak Lake. Then hit the road toward Dalat with stops at:
• Coffee farms and plantations (try some Robusta!)
• A local silk factory showing traditional weaving processes
• Elephant Waterfall and Linh An Pagoda
• Flower and vegetable farms around Dalat’s cool climate
We arrive in Dalat in the late afternoon, ending the tour in this charming mountain town.
